Accessibility Statement

Williams Legacy Group is committed to ensuring that DynastyOS is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. Estate planning is for every family — and so is our platform.

Last Updated: February 11, 2026

Applies To: dynastyos.ai and all related services

1. Our Commitment

Williams Legacy Group believes that estate planning is a right, not a privilege. That principle extends to how we build and maintain our platform. We are committed to providing a website and digital services that are accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology.

We strive to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA as published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including those with visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.

Accessibility is not a one-time effort. It is an ongoing commitment that we integrate into our design, development, and content creation processes.

2. Conformance Status

The current conformance status of dynastyos.ai with WCAG 2.1 Level AA is partially conformant. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.

Measures we have taken to support accessibility include:

  • Semantic HTML: We use proper HTML5 semantic elements (header, nav, main, section, footer, article) to ensure screen readers and assistive technologies can navigate our content structure.
  • Skip Navigation Links: Every page includes a "Skip to main content" link that allows keyboard users to bypass repeated navigation elements.
  • ARIA Attributes: We implement WAI-ARIA roles, states, and properties to enhance the accessibility of interactive components including navigation menus, buttons, and form elements.
  • Keyboard Navigation: All interactive elements are accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate the entire site using Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Escape, and arrow keys without requiring a mouse.
  • Color Contrast: We maintain a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements.
  • Alt Text: All meaningful images include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked with empty alt attributes or aria-hidden to prevent screen reader confusion.
  • Focus Indicators: Visible focus indicators are provided for all interactive elements to support keyboard-only navigation.
  • Responsive Design: The platform is fully responsive and functional across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, supporting text resizing up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

4. Technical Specifications

The accessibility of DynastyOS relies on the following technologies:

  • HTML5
  • WAI-ARIA 1.1
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (ES6+)

These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used. DynastyOS is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies:

  • Screen Readers: NVDA (Windows), JAWS (Windows), VoiceOver (macOS/iOS), TalkBack (Android)
  • Voice Control: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Voice Control (macOS/iOS)
  • Magnification: ZoomText, built-in browser zoom, operating system magnification tools
  • Switch Access: Compatible with switch access devices for motor-impaired users

We recommend using the latest versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) for the best experience with assistive technologies.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas of the platform may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

  • PDF Documents: Some downloadable PDF documents may not be fully screen-reader compatible. We are working to remediate existing PDFs and ensure all new PDFs are accessible. Contact us if you need an accessible alternative format for any document.
  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded third-party tools (payment processors, chat widgets, analytics) may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We select third-party vendors with accessibility in mind and advocate for improvements.
  • Dynamic Content: Some dynamically loaded content may not be immediately announced by screen readers. We are implementing ARIA live regions to address this.

We maintain an internal accessibility backlog and prioritize remediation based on impact and frequency. If you encounter a limitation not listed here, please contact us so we can add it to our remediation plan.

6. Assessment and Enforcement

Williams Legacy Group assesses the accessibility of DynastyOS through the following methods:

  • Automated Testing: Regular automated scans using axe-core, Lighthouse, and WAVE to identify technical accessibility issues.
  • Manual Testing: Keyboard-only navigation testing, screen reader testing with VoiceOver and NVDA, and visual inspection for color contrast and focus indicators.
  • User Feedback: Ongoing collection and analysis of accessibility feedback from users with disabilities.

This accessibility statement was prepared on February 11, 2026, based on an internal self-assessment. We plan to engage third-party accessibility auditors for a formal WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance evaluation.
